This Privacy Policy describes the public LearnOptix website at learnoptix.com. Individual linked simulators and external services may operate under additional terms and notices.

Information you provide

The landing page and guide pages do not currently offer a direct account-creation or message-submission form. Using the lens-power demonstration, search field or FAQ does not itself submit those inputs to a LearnOptix database. If you email info@learnoptix.com, we may receive your email address, name, message, and any attachments you choose to send to respond to your inquiry. If you visit GitHub or an external simulator, that service may process information separately.

Technical information from site visits

The website is delivered using Cloudflare hosting and security services. To serve pages, protect the site and operate the network, service providers may process technical information such as IP address, device/browser information, request URLs, timestamps and security-related metadata. Cloudflare may use essential security cookies or similar technologies when needed.

Third-party resources and email handling

The site loads Poppins from Google Fonts, which requires a browser request to Google's font service. It also links to external LearnOptix simulators, GitHub and educational references. These services have their own privacy practices.

LearnOptix currently uses Cloudflare Email Routing to forward messages sent to our domain email address to a Gmail inbox operated by Google. Cloudflare and Google may process routing metadata and message content as needed for email delivery and storage. The mailbox service may change; this notice should be updated when it does.

Cookies and analytics

The static landing page code provided by LearnOptix does not deliberately set advertising or analytics cookies. Platform-level logs, protective technologies or connected simulators may operate independently. If analytics, advertising or a contact service is added later, this notice should be reviewed and updated before activation.

Retention and your choices

The public website currently has no direct contact form or user account database, so it does not provide account data-management controls. Email correspondence may be retained as needed to respond to requests or maintain reasonable operational records; no fixed retention period is promised. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have provided, subject to applicable legal requirements. Platform logs and information held by external services are subject to their respective settings and policies.

Children and sensitive information

LearnOptix offers educational resources but is not intended as a place to submit patient records, sensitive health information or private student data. Avoid posting personal information in public feedback channels.

We may revise this notice as new features are added. The date above indicates the most recent revision.

For questions about this notice or requests concerning information you sent to LearnOptix, email info@learnoptix.com and use the subject “Privacy Request”. Please do not include patient records or highly sensitive personal information in an unencrypted email. Public GitHub issues are not suitable for private requests.
